Arūnas Sakalauskas was born in 1962 in Varniai. In 1985, he graduated from the acting master’s program at the Lithuanian State Conservatory (course leader – Jonas Vaitkus). From 1985 to 1986, he was an actor at the Kaunas State Academic Drama Theatre, served in the army from 1986 to 1987, returned to the Kaunas theatre from 1987 to 1989, and has been an actor at the Lithuanian National Drama Theatre since 1989. He appeared in the television improv shows “Pagauk kampą,” “Dviračio žinios,” hosted the show “Vakaro autografas,” and, together with Vytautas Šapranauskas, hosted the show “Puikusis šou.”
